Uptown Lush Tropical Retreat

Palms, ornamental grasses, flowering layers, and mature foliage give this established Uptown garden its relaxed, collected character.

Walk through this Uptown New Orleans garden with us as we transform a traditional property into a lush, layered retreat that feels both playful and refined. The garden is anchored by palms, camellias, and Japanese maple, the design integrates tropical accents like banana shrub, papyrus, and guava alongside seasonal color and perennial structure. Sasanquas, hydrangeas, and bamboo add depth and privacy, while ferns and groundcovers knit the garden together, creating a vibrant outdoor environment. Through thoughtful landscape design, outdoor lighting design, installation, and maintenance, the space captures the spirit of a contemporary New Orleans garden—rich in texture, character, and year-round appeal.
